East Side Systems is a Network of affiliated businesses sharing a common goal, to promote commerce
throughout our community.
There are two types of memberships available:
Affiliate Membership - This is a Business or Individual that contributes to their local community by operating a business, either as a Corporation, LLC or Sole Propriatorship promoting commerce by buying & selling goods and services.
Community Membership - These are "registered" and "trusted" members of our community that are considered to be regular customers, utilizing the services of our affiliates on a regular and consistent basis either by choice or necessity.  Are you a member?

Web Development - A Different Approach
Most households have some form of High-Speed-Internet so why does it take so long for some
websites to load?
Most websites today have all the latest bells and whistles, Java™, ActiveX™, Flash™, Streaming Video...
I think you get the picture.
Most companies have these applications running on their sites because having it looks impressive, but
is it all necessary? In a word, No!
These applications are used because they are flashy and impressive but, if all I want to do is look up
some basic information about a company, how to reach them on the phone, what is their mailing address,
what type of products or services do they offer, do I need a flashy video and streaming headlines on the
home page to impress me?
Let's not forget that all those applications take time to load and a good many of them take too bloody
long to load.

Where am I going with this? What point am I trying to make?

It's quite simple, if you want a web site to advertise your company, church or non-profit don't go
for all the bells and whistles unless you want to put your audience to sleep.
Your best bet is to use these applications only if you need them and keep them off your home page.
Stick with the old k.i.s.s. motto, "Keep it simple Simon"
